My drawing - Character from Skip beat

When I was reading manga Skip beat a long time ago I have to admit that I didn´t like it at all.  But I thought that anime was really funny and watched it many times. The anime always lured me into manga so I read manga intermittently few years....maybe? But finally I´ve reached the "actual end" of this (despite it´s still ongoing). But what I want to say is that there are really nice body postures of characters. So I chose one of interesting posture for me (it was funny scene there :)) So here is one of my quick sketch. Btw. it´s Moko-san....

My creations - Wired tree for jewelry

When I was in an art shop where was a lot of new technics shown I met one catching my attention. It was wiring. You can wire everything you want like jewelry, stones, ceramics.....I really liked wired trees. They looked so elegant. Only wired with beads and stone as a base.
So when I got home I started to wire mine own tree. It was really fun (it goes only with bare hands). I found small stone somewhere at home and it was finished. Now I´m using it for my beautiful earings. These trees can be really pretty so I will try to create another ones with more various sparkling beads.

Tea ceremony

Have you ever seen Japanese tea ceremony on your own eyes? No? I was so lucky to see it!
During a month festival on theme “Water” in our town there was on program lecture concerning Water in Japanese mythology and after that demonstration of tea ceremony. I was looking forward to that as some small kid because I only watched this in animes or in videos on youtube. So when I heard about it I had to run to buy tickets for this!

Preparation for the tea ceremony

At first I was with my collegue from work to see the lecture. It was really interesting. The man who spoke about Japanese people and their perception of water. The man wasn´t Japanese but he lived there, studied and then he went throught way of taoism. So he was something as monk. He had also geta (traditional shoes) - it was the first time I´ve seen them in person. So he also spoke about clothing, geta etc. Really interesting...

Chashaku (bamboo spoon), tea Matcha (green powder), Chasen (bamboo whisk)

After his lecture we should moved to the next room where was everything for tea ceremony prepared. A lot of people were almost there and I thought that I had to sit down somewhere behind :( But my another two collegues held place in the first row for me! I was sooo lucky :)

At first “the monk” explained the meaning of the tea ceremony etc. And then the president of school Urasenke showed with his Japanese wife playing guest the ceremony. This took my breath out. It was so beautiful that I only wished - if I could learn aslo something so beautiful.
Tea ceremony

They both spoke about tea, tea schools, about how they were learning in Japan and so on.

Meanwhile we got also tea Matcha and some sweet beans candy. It was really yummy :)

I think that all Japanese women (doesn´t depend on age) are so cute and they all have so different behavior in compare to us.

It was really great experience! If you have some chance to see it somewhere, don´t hesitate and go!

Freefall Romance (Rakka Sokudo)

I´ve re-read this manga many times. Why? Because I have it at home and read it anytime I feel like it or only favourite scenes :)
This manga is from my favourite mangaka Hyouta Fujiyama and has only 1 volume.
It´s about two coworkers who drink with each other. One of him Youichi Nanase has gay little brother and Nanse can´t get over it. He can speak about this matter only with his coworker and drinking buddy Renji Tsutsumi. After one of their drinking night Renji looks at Youichi´s face and feels a little attracted to him. But they are both "normal" and on top of that Youichi has anti-gay attitude.
But what happened when Renji suddenly kisses Youichi and why Youichi doesn´t refuse him? What happend when Renji is in love with him and Youichi begins not to be sure about his anti-gay attitude?
The story is really good and of course the mangaka´s art is so exciting. Let´s enjoy this yaoi manga

My drawings

Once I saw a wonderful drawing (don´t remember the name) which was only sketch by hand and it was surrealism. It was really so beautiful that I fell in love with this. I was wondering how the artist could imagine something like this. And then when I began drawing I found out that it´s really entertaining sketching surrealism.

Fortune cookie

When I was on animefest - our anime con - I bought cookie called "Fortune cookie". Maybe you know it from manga and anime, maybe it´s common in your country but not here. I was really happy to see it and of course I had to have it. I was looking forward to open it and read my fortune...

Fortune cookie - it was unexpected delicious :)

My fortune: "Next month you are going to carry less responsibility"

So I can only wait if my fortune becomes true!

My drawings

Today´s drawing is called Under the sun. I sketched it because outside is raining so I felt like it despite I don´t like hot sun :) But it is the red sun in the afternoon when it is not so hot and it feels great.
